River Talks 071119

Omaru Creek. The reserve is an opened space.
Back in the day,
children found it as a special place to play, a spot to laugh,
or hang with friends. Over the time,
those specials moments slowly became memories.
Children hardly come out to play, or walk using this space.
Little kids find Omaru Creek boring,
they find the reserve as a waste of space.

Tamati and the council refuse to sit and watch
their childhood memories fade away.
At the river talks we can learn how to take care of our reserve.
We could learn to change things around,
and create a park using this space.
What a good idea! Right?
I believe Eastview Reserve deserves better, and we could do so much more!
