Glen Innes Swimming Pool is a significant
residence for the community. It brings children joy,
and lightens their sensational day, with the splash of water.

Swimming is good!
One of the many things people tend to do is swim.
There is a variety of choices to do in the pool,
such as backstroke, or freestyle. We could also race,
or compete against each other to see who can do it best!
The movement is difficult, but the technique is so much fun!

Swimming also impacts on your health.
Swimming can deal with stress relief,
and help to maintain your heart rate.
The flow of the water is just so relaxing!
Swimming benefits the lungs and muscles,
it also helps maintain a healthy weight.

It is vital knowing how to swim.
Swimming can construct joy for everyone,
but without the ability of knowing how to swim,
it is most likely dangerous to be around deep water.

Why is it important to learn how to swim?
New Zealand has one of the highest fatal
drowning rates in the whole of OECD.
In 2017 there were 92 preventable deaths.
Most of these deaths were caused by not knowing the skills,
and experience of swimming. In other words,
by not know how to swim. Each person has the right of learning how to swim.
There has been 107 deaths caused each year,
due to the fact of drowning.

At Glen Innes Pools, learning how to swim is a piece of cake.
We have intructors who explain how to swim,
and what to do in a certain aspect. For this reason,
we can reduce the numbers of drowning in New Zealand.

As you know, in Glen Innes Pools, swimming lessons for children,
or older folks are available.
Glen Innes Pools is a fun and caring enviroment.
It’s a place of laughter,
where people come at anytime of the day.

such as birthday partys, or somewhere to go with a couple of friends.
