Geometry
In June, my class covered the basics of geometry:
WALT:
Create a DLO about geometry to teach others about it.
Success Criteria:
- Use a presentation
- Explain different kinds of lines.
- Watch videos to get more ideas about geometry.
- Make sure you understand how the lines work.

A Point:
A point is one of the most basic figures in geometry.
Notice that a point is usually labelled with a capital letter.
For example:
- A
 - X
 - y

A line has to endpoints. Unlinke a ray, they both end at a certain time.
For example, segment A and B. This segment can also be represented as:
or :
Line:
A line is defined as a straight path between points that extends forever in both directions. Line XY can also be represented XY with a line over it.
Ray:
A ray only has one endpoint, meaning the other goes on forever. The first letter in any ray represents the endpoint. The next letter, represents which direction the arrow heads. A ray can also be shown is two different ways.
